Green Party selects 35 candidates to contest general election
The Green Party has selected 35 candidates to contest the next general election under its banner. Selection conventions have taken place across the country where local party members have chosen their candidate and the Party is on target to reach its goal of running a candidate in every constituency. The candidates come from a diverse range of backgrounds and 15 (43%) of the candidates are female.
