I am committed to addressing the key challenges we face today, while also working to ensure a brighter future for all. As your representative, my priorities will include improving housing, strengthening healthcare, supporting small businesses, and promoting education reform. I believe these issues are central to building a stronger, more resilient Kildare South, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.Ireland is not the same as it was 20 years ago, and it’s time we change as well. The political system has to change. We need a system which truly represent the needs of everyone, not just those who have historically held the power. Women make up at least half of the population, and I strongly believe that there should be an equal representation of women in politics.I want your support to raise your voice, your concerns. Let’s join together and make sure our voices are heard loudly and clearly.Together we can make Ireland an even better place to live.
Social Equality and Justice - Addressing systemic inequalities, ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all citizens and justice reform.
Housing Infrastructure - Solving the root cause of the housing crisis rather than only building more houses. Investing in infrastructure - transportation, broadband internet and public utilities to boost economy.
Healthcare - Addressing the root cause of hospital overcrowding and waiting list, shortage of healthcare staff, GP access and mental health service.
Experience
I am a pharmacist by profession and I am a proud mother of 2 young children. I was born in India, raised in Kenya and have been living in Kildare for more than 20 years.I take immense pride that I have been selected by the Green Party to run in the upcoming general election for Kildare South. I thank each and every member of Green Party for trusting my vision and providing me with this opportunity to make change in Ireland.Having lived not just in three countries but three different continents, I believe that I have a unique experience that allows me to understand the needs and concerns of people from different backgrounds with respect to their race and ethnicity, socio-economic status, academic and professional background, and life experience.I understand their issues, their concerns and their needs. Whether it is housing, healthcare, employment, education, social equality, immigration or personal/family security – I want to address each and every issue of every citizen living in Ireland.
