My ambition for Kerry is that we embrace the technologies and improvements that will enrich our county economically, socially, and environmentally as we respond to the climate crisis.
In becoming a Green Party representative, I want to shape the policies that will see Kerry deal with the effects of the climate crisis.
Green Prosperity — Kerry can become wealthy and a centre of environmental excellence by leading the way in renewable energy production.
Sustainability — Farmers are the heart of our communities and local economy; sustainable farming can enhance their incomes while protecting the environment.
Public Transport — Investment in public transport is critical to ending our over-reliance on cars.
My background in Social Care Work has given me a keen understanding of the everyday impact social policy has on people’s lives.
My canvassing experience during the referendums for marriage equality and repealing the Eighth Amendment taught me the power of having conversations about social and political issues. I am bringing this approach to engaging with people around the climate crisis and Green prosperity in Kerry.
