As your representative for Dundrum, I will work to deliver more homes for our area; calmer streets for safe walking and cycling; and enhance public spaces so we have more places to play and socialise.
Housing
Dundrum simply needs more homes for workers, families and people who want to downsize. I support delivering high quality, energy efficient, affordable homes for our area both for purchase and to rent.
Calmer Streets
Making our area better for walking and cycling is one of my top priorities. We need to claw back road space from the private car and give more priority to walking, cycling and public transport.
Liveable Neighbourhoods
I want to enhance and expand our public spaces to give our community more pleasant places to be and live. Public space must be redesigned to put people first by providing appropriate seating, greenery, and attractive streets.
Experience
Robert Jones is the Green Party councillor representing Dundrum. Originally from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, he now resides in Churchtown with his fiancée.
Prior to his election in 2024, Robert served as the constituency manager to former Minister and Dublin Rathdown TD Catherine Martin. He has also worked in financial services, supporting business owners and SMEs across Dublin.
Passionate about enhancing the quality of life in Dundrum and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Robert is committed to delivering more homes, promoting safer walking and cycling, and improving public spaces for community enjoyment.
