Someone Who Gets Things Done

I am a successful business owner and local councillor that is 'dogged' in my attitude to cut through bureaucracy, making Naas a better and more sustainable place to live in at any age.

My priorities

A Thriving Town: I am committed to building a thriving town rather than just a growing town.

Active Travel that Works: I am committed to joining up the fragmented bicycle lanes in Naas so that people can safely leave the car at home more often.

A Main Street We Can be Proud Of: I am committed to ridding the main street of through traffic, making for a safer, more pleasant street.

An Attractive Town Centre: I am committed to sustaining the vibrancy of our town by helping create a cultural and educational hub in the town centre and helping attract retailers

A Vibrant Town After Dark: I am committed to securing a vibrant night-time economy through the Purple Flag programme.

Sustainable Jobs: I am committed to creating sustainable jobs in Naas.

People and Wildlife in Balance: I am committed to creating outdoor amenities for townspeople and visitors while preserving unspoilt habitats for wildlife.

Experience

Originally from County Galway, I’ve lived in Naas more than 15 years. As a dad to three kids I’m no stranger to the challenges of raising young children. I’m a financial planner by trade and I am putting the skills I’ve developed over 13 years in business to work for the benefit of Naas. I am dogged in my attitude to cutting through bureaucracy to make Naas a better and more sustainable place in which to live at any age.

I set up my business in 2010 and working in and for Naas has been important to me since moving here. I’ve been active in business, residents’, and community groups for many years; for example, I was Company Secretary and Director of Landen Park Owners Management Company while I lived there.
